I worked with a guitar player who was ALWAYS too loud.
Band member - "Jeff, ya gotta turn that down man."
Jeff - "It's only on 5."
Band member - "Dude, that's why there's a 1 through 4."
Jeff - "So what's 6 through 10 for?"
And let's not forget the advantage of a 12 hour clock over a 24 hour. On 11/11/11, 11:11 will have both an am AND a pm.

You know, I joined the forum on 11-11 so either that day will include something amazingly unusual or it will go by just like yesterday without fanfare. Just depends on whether I'm awake or not. (Those darn naps get in the way, you know...)

It's not going to affect my performance, don't worry about that. I just hate it... it really, it does disturb me, but I'll rise above it; I'm a professional.
Lots of stuff and a recently acquired ability to stop buying
Can't sleep... it's 3.43am on Friday morning 11/11/11... it's really black outside. How much more black could it be? The answer is none, none more black.

I think we all knew that guy, James. He's most often the central character (or is that his girlfriend?) of the plot to bring about the band's downfall. It's ironic, I s'pose, that it's "never" the intention, but most often the result.

So, do we all have our souvenir burritos? (Yes or no will suffice; no need to explain WHERE!)

My wife is the manager of a Radio Reading Service, which reads current print material - newspapers, magazines, etc - to the vision impaired over sub-channel FM.
She scheduled her monthly staff meeting for 11:11 today. Just to see if anyone would catch it, I think.

Not sure how to celebrate - other than watching my Blu-Ray of Spinal Tap. It's been a while.
If you haven't seen the deleted scenes - like the limo driver (Bruno Kirby) getting stoned and singing Sinatra in his tidy whities, you're in for a treat.
