@ Mr Steele--- I just moved so my IP has changed and frankly I don't care wether you believe me or not. I have nothing to prove to you nor does it matter how long i've been in this forum. I have been visiting the MOTUNation for years even when it was called Unicornation but again-- I'm not waste my time trying to prove that to you.. I don't need to. The fact you don't believe me or what to check my IP to see if I'm lying is really lame. I think the forum is cool but your attitude is not.
Whatever man. You're not going to waste your time? Okay... fine. You wouldn't have to "try" to prove anything. It would be simple to do. And actually I could care less what you think about my attitude, Scott. Really.

As for my rebuttal on your statements --- I did my research and since there was no definitive answer by MOTU or any other professionals on the if it worked or not,, I took the hit. However there was tons of support by many industry people that it would work or should work. Obviously it does not and I've got the word out there through this forum and other means. That was my goal and I'm glad I did it! Hopefully MOTU will get the point and get up to speed with the other software options. I am told they are looking into it.
Glad that MOTU is looking into it. Should I assume this development came sometime between 12:14am when you posted this and now? As a response to this thread? Otherwise, there wouldn't have been a need for your post I guess. As far as taking the "hit," it probably wasn't too large as you were able to return it, right? And obviously the "tons of support by many industry people that it would work..." was off by about 2,000 pounds per each ton of support from industry people who were giving opinions on something they unfortunately had no firsthand experience with. Seems like there's no other explanation.

Anyways-- I am too busy to deal with you or your accusations that I am lying or not doing due diligence before buying gear..
Well, obviously you're too busy. PM me with your alternate user ID and I'll gladly post an apology in this thread. As far as you not doing due diligence prior to purchasing the card, that's not an accusation. It's a regrettable fact-- else you wouldn't have bought the card, except.

Frankly I don't care-- I am professional, my work speaks for itself.. Not sure but if I was reading statements in a forum by someone who has credits versus someone who seemly has no professional experience I would probably listen to the one with experience (not that I am saying you don't have experience Mr Steele).
You mean like the industry people who told you the card would with DP? I'm sure their resumes were impressive as well. Don't worry, that always gets trotted out and I expected you to do so as well.

What a strange forum of angry attitude and aggressive people.. Geese! whatever -- back to work..
Really, Scott? Considering you've been here participating since the days it was called UnicorNation as you claim, then you would know it's far from it, right? I mean you HAVE been a member of this forum for a long time under a different name. As I explained, when someone "appears" to register and post only for the one-time purpose of complaining about something with DP... well, yes... it bugs me. When it includes yet another threat of switching to another DAW, I find it tedious as well.

Oh well... yes indeed... back to work...

Wow. I take it all back. He's just a jerk after all. We shouldn't be doing this, though. It's high school stuff.

"Could have" helped people on this forum? What do you mean? You've been here years participating prior to this post, right?

Agreed that this is a waste of time. I notice I have three PMs waiting for me. I'll be interested to see if there are more from Scott who's trying his best to hurt my poow wittow feewings. :)

I read something about this on another thread a while back. I think a 30" is more than adequate for you to see a video to hear some music to. It's good enought to edit motion graphics and CGI but not good enough to spot your sequence to... oh yeah, now there's MDP to HDMI!

Well... a whole lotta redaction goin' on. No doubt for the best. I'll perhaps clean up my quoted messages soon and assist with purging the record. Where's Rose Mary Woods when you need her?
