I'll be fine with single MIDI clips/files.
I checked that and, of course, you all were right, (un)ableton is unable to export standard MIDI files. Sorry if I had to verify by myself (I was pretty sure that was an option)

snow is coming next week in my town BTW... I'll have some time to read Digital performer 6 Power!
Begginning to really like this forum (I'm a lot on ableton forums, love that place too, despite the unmoderated philosophy that often allows lots of trolling, but we laugh a lot right there too)
