Smooth sailing here too.

Extra RAM does make a big diff always. I'm on 10Gs now, and that's a nice place to be for music production it seems...

And Make Music also updated Finale 2010 today, within minutes of MOTU updating. DP. Feast or famine, I suppose.

Seems very good here. Mixer doesn't go to sleep anymore either.

Um after a couple of hours in all is good in fact amazingly good. It's fast (read smokin) stable, and err snappier and sounds better (well not really but I thought i would say it anyway)

My mixer still sleeps on occasion... in 7.01. Odd little issue. And the only one so far.

Please expound, if possible...?

Inquiring hobbits want to know. (I'll respectfully pass along your reports to those "inquiring hobbits"... )

This update is blazing fast! I opened a project in 7.0 by mistake; it had a QL Piano loaded in Play and I was like "oh, great, have to wait for this to load before I can close out and open it in 7.01". So, I waited, closed out, and opened it in 7.01. HUGE DIFFERENCE in the time it took to open! MOTU did some voodoo here!

Quite often in 7.0 I would move a fader and the level would change but the readout remained static. I had to move to tracks view and back to the mixer view before the fader showed the correct value.

I've noticed this as well but once you click out of channel strip ALL is good.

It seems it takes preference, but when you close it all is good.

Anyone commented on just how fast DP7.01 is yet.....................

I though not
