6.02 getting confused: me or it?

Any real solution other than reassigning take folders or moving original folders? This is so annoying to have to add an extra step every time.
I now have 2 new bands stored in the audio path of 3 bands ago--didn't catch this right away...now for the painstaking process of doing a "save as" with copy all audio selected for 15 tracks. Argh.

I lost a pretty good number of takes and random individual tracks. Luckily none from takes we picked to use, so no idea if I could find the missing pieces. I'm not spending any more than the half day already spent on this. I'm still sitting on an extra 60ish GB of space from the original tracking, until I'm certain I've retrieved everything I need with a 'save as' operation. Yeah, again, I'm calling this one a bug.

So today I started a session that had enough info from preproduction to build everything ahead of time. So, I built a first project, then saved a template, then built all the other projects. One project per song. This time very project created from the initial template put the audio files in the correct folder. Only difference I can see is that I created everything before ANY recording was made. The previous problems all occurred with new projects created from a template AFTER the parent project had started recordings.

Whatever that's worth.
