From MOTU's site:

"This maintenance release includes numerous program enhancements and optimizations, including the new configurable Shortcuts window, the new options for floating the main Control Panel and setting its level of transparency, automatic versus manual note durations in the QuickScribe Editor, more customizable key bindings and many more."

Why do I get that disturbing feeling in my gut every time I read their lists of 'new features'? Oh yeah, I know exactly why.... Just fix the damn thing before worrying about 'enhancements'! Talk about Microsoft-itis!

Ok, now that I have that out of the way, I am very hopeful and optimistic that MOTU has stabilized this puppy and it is now a working version. But I haven't launched the installer just yet....

I've downloaded it, about to install it, etc., thanks to the link that carrythebanner posted. But I just want to know how carrythebanner got that link! I've searched that site high and low, and I do not find a link ANYWHERE on that site to 6.02. I can still find the one to 6.01 (which was hidden pretty well, itself) but not to 6.02. And why has MOTU stopped using the Downloads section for updating DP? I mean, I'm really grateful that the link is here in this thread, but it's getting to be pretty mysterious. How does MOTU expect the general public to ever get an update? I guess these are for MOTUNation users only? It's just got me curious, that's all. More at "mystified."

thanks to everyone for the info on the update PDF....

too bad the SHORTCUTS isn't really customizable. all it is is giving us back the icons they took away in DP6... the ones that were to the right of the transport controls.. for CHUNKS, MIDI, etc... giving us what they previously took away isn't exactly and "upgrade"... that's like taking away audio from DP 6.03 and giving putting it back in 6.04 and saying "now does hard disk recording!".. LOL.. well, not that bad.. anyway.. it would have been cool if the shortcuts were truly customizable by allowing us to put own own commands in it.

but, who cares.. i just want a bug free app!

+100

6.02 has fixed the ability to delete a MIDI event in the COMMANDS window. That wasn't so hard, was it :)

*shrugs* I dunno, I just saw it there on the homepage. I checked and it's there now, too. If it wasn't there when you checked, maybe there was a temporary website snafu.

There looks to be a direct link to the 6.02 updater in the new story, but I also see 6.02 in the Downloads section.
