I was looking at this just now. That would put me in the doghouse pretty darn quick!
I'm taking my wife out to a very nice seafood restaurant tomorrow night for Valentines Day (early, our weekend is booked). I know, Seafood in Fort Wayne, IN? But seriously, it is very good! As to the interface, can't talk about that here.

So, I installed the new HD, RAM and DP6 today and guess what...
Same exact latency!
One test that I did that definitively eliminates the 828 from being the culprit was to open BFD2 in standalone mode, switch the audio outs to use OS X's CoreAudio instead of the 828 and monitor by pluging my headphines directly into the cpu's headphone jack. I did that and it's exactly the same.
Kind of a head scratcher.
I guess I need to get on the FXpansion forums now!
It's NOT the 828.
