I'd say, add the upgrades you've bought as those are going to be useful no matter what interface you have. If that doesn't work, then let's look at something new. If that does work, then buy yourself a nice dinner out somewhere

I'm taking my wife out to a very nice seafood restaurant tomorrow night for Valentines Day (early, our weekend is booked). I know, Seafood in Fort Wayne, IN? But seriously, it is very good! As to the interface, can't talk about that here.

So, I installed the new HD, RAM and DP6 today and guess what...
Same exact latency!
One test that I did that definitively eliminates the 828 from being the culprit was to open BFD2 in standalone mode, switch the audio outs to use OS X's CoreAudio instead of the 828 and monitor by pluging my headphines directly into the cpu's headphone jack. I did that and it's exactly the same.
Kind of a head scratcher.
I guess I need to get on the FXpansion forums now!

Actually, that's not a fair test....there is most certainly latency using the built-in audio interface. I'm telling you....it IS your interface.
