Admittedly, my two questions that have been languishing at the bottom of "Ronan's" inbox are fairly minor.

I'll summarize them (not for the sake of getting an answer here-- though that would be greatly appreciated), but more to see if it is a matter of the urgency of a problem that might cause tech support to leave it alone. These two questions are pretty low priority kinds of issues. I couldn't find answers in the manual, but maybe it is in there somewhere.

1. When I have a soundbite parked at the beginning of a measure (e.g., 2|1|000), and I change the tempo (via slider), the sound bite moves to a new starting place. I would like to plant my soundbite on a particular beat and have it not move (relative to beats) when I change tempo. The lock button does not work. Is there a way to do this? I am trying to manually choose a tempo relative to the soundbite, and when the soundbite keeps moving (with no apparent rhyme or reason), it makes this impossible.

2. In previous versions of DP, in the graphic MIDI editor, it was possible to "lasso" select freely even when the grid was on. In other words, the grid did not affect what I was able to select. Now I need to hold down the command key when I select, and (if I want the grid on) let it go when I drag. It may seem like a nit-picking thing, but I really miss the old way. How often I need to reach for a modifying key slows me down. I was just wondering if there is an edit mode where I have complete control over selecting (without the software stupidly trying to predict what I "really wanted" to select), but while keeping the grid turned on.

BTW, if anyone has any answers to these, should I post them as a new thread (or two?).

After a couple of days with no answer to my techlink I thought I'd phone UK support as I really need to know the answer. They didn't know so suggested I make a techlink, or phone the US. after a couple more days I thought I'll phone the US and phoned 5 times from 9:30am to 2pm MOTU US time. No-one answered. How are you supposed to get any sense out of them? I need to know if I'll blow up my outputs if they're plugged into a phantom powered stage box. Until I know I can't use it live for fear of blowing it up!!! That's why I joined Motunation but no-one here has answered yet.

I just talked on the phone today for about an hour. He even stayed with me 20 mins. after quitting time. I must say though, that my emails have never been answered.

Has anyone successfully used the reverb to record with on 828mk3? I hear it in the monitor but not in the mix. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing. Thanks.....
