Yes, Soundflower.

Basic usage:

When you launch stuff, make sure you launch DP first, then RAX. You should see RAX list 4 destinations published into the MIDI track destinations dropdown. (Rax 1, Rax 2, Rax 3, Rax 4). Choose Rax 1.

In RAX preferences MIDI tab, choose one of the RAX MIDI inputs (the one you choose in DP must match this). Choose Rax 1.

In RAX preferences audio tab, choose Soundflower (2ch) as your output.

In SoundflowerBed menubar dropdown, choose your audio interface (e.g., Motu Ultralite) you are using in DP as the destination for all Soundflower sources.

Got it. So this is a cool other work around. The others involve using interapplication MIDI and loading up dp 5.13 or logic 8 with the AUs and using soundflower. I'd like to be able to save the sounds which you can't do with the rax demo. Not going to spend any $ on this plug until the omnisphere upgrade comes out!

My RAX v2.1.2 build 1254 demo lets me save/load presets created in RAX.

Test this:
Load up everything in the correct aforementioned manner. Load an ATM preset. Then make a change to Atmosphere (you have to click the view button, in case you already haven't discovered that). Do a change to the preset you know isn't in the ATM built in preset, like dropping the master filter radically.

Back in RAX main window, next to the ATM AU slot, click 'save' and save the settings to a preset on your desktop, e.g., asdf.aupreset.

Now, load in another completely different preset in ATM. Make sure it's different.

Now, load in asdf.aupreset and you will see that your changes indeed took. While it doesn't help with PPC ATM presets, it lets you use ATM without that frigging wrapper.

Yeah, I got all that. Just when you load up rax again you have to delete all of the instruments, fx, then make the atmosphere instrument, then load in your saved preset. Still, it works and is free so that's great. I wonder how it's working with you not loading the intel wrapper? I guess I'll have to disable the intel wrapper and try it out. It seems ok with the wrapper though at any rate. It's usable that's for sure.

Oh, I know why you have to do that.

I apparently tried out the older Rax 1.2 PPC, which lets you File->Save As your custom racks. I loaded in ATM in that, made some presets, saved as, quit, loaded Rax 2, opened the Rax file I saved in Rax 1.2, and my preset was there.

You can dl Rax 1.2 free, because the original company sold Rax to the new one, which redeveloped it as version 2. Version 1 is still legitimately downloadable from the original developer.

Maybe that's not a solution for you.

Found the old version of Rax and it works on intel. It only loads the non-wrapper version of atmosphere and trilogy but they both work! Plus, there's no extra stuff loaded in the rack and you can save the whole setup. Still limited to one instrument but you can have multiple racks open with different MIDI inputs. Looks like like a cool temporary workaround for now.
