That one depends on your Audio Interface. With my RME I can get it to sum a bunch of outs (from DP) & Ins (from synths, fx etc) and then return them to DP as one of the Stereo inputs - all via the Total Mix environment (ie. no plugging leads from outputs to inputs).

It's not necessary if all the audio is being generated by DP, though, as using busses within DP is a much simpler way to do it (unless you're wanting to do outboard summing, but that's a whole other discussion).

Assign the tracks and auxes and the master fader (if there is one) to a free stereo bus. Create a new stereo track and set its input to that stereo bus and set its output to whatever output goes to your monitors.

Remember to check Audio Patch Thru and turn on the Monitor dealybob or you might not hear anything.
