While we are at it...
How about different channel colors ?
Or can one edit himself in the resouces ? ( xml or the like ? )
I've heard someone edited skins of the new Digital Performer 6 in resouces...
Best

You could route out from your DAW i.e. to AES, use DSP on the way out, loop back in with a cable, and in to your DAW.
You will get some additional latency, but could compensate the tracks...
just measure the latency.
Same could be done with SPDif.
If you use Analog, you loose quality
Take care

You can simply use the FireWire return channel, which appears as a stereo input in the DAW. Look up Return Assign or Return 1-2 in the 896mk3 or 828mk3 manual.

no but i have just run into a problem messing with the whole resizing thing....
i resized... then resized some more.. and now the right hand side of cumix is invisible with no obvious way of getting it back! the bit with the dsp display!unbelievable.... the tab you drag is off the screen so i cant resize it back haha. stupid software.

Try and grab the window at the top center and shift the entire window to the left to gain access to the resize corner. I would verify this action but my DAW is torn down for reconstruction into a RTA Studio Production Desk an it is taking longer that expected.

im not sure you get what i mean. the cumix window is on the screen (comfortably) but within that window the dsp display is going off the side of the window...

Hey you guys,
Try running 3 MOTU 896HD's and 1 MOTU Ultralite on the same FW buss line! I can record 32 tracks at one time, but can't monitor them with any efficiency. I can run them through my Beringer headphone amp, with some creative wiring!
Ok, otherwise having fun with my "rig"!
