I just pre-ordered and Brigette said 2 maximum 3 weeks. So who is the winner? when it ships or is it June 19th? The prize is huge!

They seem to be addressing several long standing issues with this release. A few surprises in there like drum editor triplets...
I'm excited! But not excited enough to be a guinea pig for this release. I did that for DP5. So whose turn is it?

Sweet! Just ordered my upgrade. If I'm not mistaken, this upgrade is cheaper than my upgrade from 4 to 5? Again, I say, SWEET!!!

Sorry, just an illusion. It is the same price. I know because I paid the upgrade from 4.12 to 4.5 then to 5.x. I actually thought my upgrade to 4.5 was $149 but when I suggested that a couple of years ago most people have said that the upgrade was always $195.

Yeah, come to think of it, I think I must be thinking of when I competitively upgraded from Logic 6 to DP 4 for $350-ish.

Is it just me, or does $195 seem excessive for a version upgrade?

Not at all. My Sibelius upgrade was $170 and $30 for the manual if you wanted it. And that's "just" a notation program (a pretty powerful one). DP does so much. $200 seems right to me.

It's just you
Actually, $95 would be better, but when you look at all they added, and when I think of how much I use it, I can't argue with it.

Not now when the dollar is low
And also the international shipping is back to $44.95, think it was a whopping $79.95 last time. So I'm happy and have pre-ordered! yay!

No downloads for DP major updates.
We'll have to wait for our hard copy of the manual and of course ...the CD.
BTW I really wonder how many pages the DP6 manual will have .
Any bets ?
