16 and 24 bit

Post by misterlast »

What about the fact that DP5 allows reading of 16 and 24 bit audio files and probably converts in some manner that might dither the audio in an unflattering way?

Well heck, I have that problem even when opening up some sessions from another user on my machine (both on 5.13).

Also, I have noticed that insert send levels from some of my older sessions open up in 5.13 inaccurately, often at 0, which of course messes with aux bus reverbs and effects.

My suggesion would be to open a session in 4.6, make notes on the bussing and effects send levels, then open the same session in 5.13 to double check those items. Let us know what happens!

Lookout for this Mortilla character. Thinks he knows everything. Of course he does, but that only makes things worse.
