Of course! The DP verb is just another flavor!
But man... Pro Tools is PT (that one window thing) and if I want that interface I'll use PT but DP's still going to have that flexibility in configuring it's GUI... PT's can't do that.
I use expose and I like having different window layouts for each type of editing functions instead of everything in one.. Logic is too limited in that area, DP smokes Logic for workflow for how I work. But what is nice is the ability to zoom the vertical view in the SE! No more squinting!

Yeah but it's hope .... we just need hope. And you have given us hope Brad... and for that we are grateful :D

Seriously thanks for the update.

Thanks Brad! What I'm most happy about is MOTU taking their time to do it right. Sure, we all want DP 6 NOW, but if they're tweaking and adding features (which is probably why there isn't info on their website yet), let them add the features! But I can't wait and I want it now! :D

At NAMM they had the Euphonix interface right there at the MOTU booth, so I'd say that, uh, yeah, Euphonix support is very likely to be there...

I'm not counting on release within the month. I'll say July - that way, if it comes out earlier, I'll be pleasantly surprised :D

ProVerb has got to be at least as good as the convo reverb built into Ethno and Symphonic Instrument - it's probably the same reverb. I wouldn't be throwing away Altiverb if you already own it. I'll venture a guess and say ProVerb is loads better than MOTU's eVerb.

And hey, keep in mind - DP 6.2 will be the version that "actually" works...

I'll second that guess. (I don't mean "second guess" that guess...)
Success is just one more plugin away! And happiness is as close as your next upgrade.

How could it NOT be? Seriously...

Also, I don't understand how one convolution reverb could sound not so good compared to another if they use the same IRs?

I agree. But that is to be seen. Soon. Okay, not THAT soon. But soon.

It is in development, but both parties know the importance of it.
Thank you,

Sounds great! I look forward to sending MOTU some $$$.

Is it 64 bit capable then?

I reckon the release of the upgrade will be the trigger that causes me to upgrade to Leopard.

Great to hear about the new features which I'm excited about, but if DP isn't significantly more efficient regarding processing and CPU draw, I know I'll be a bit disappointed. The rending of VI's etc will help, but I'm running into CPU issues already with my new Quad core 2.66, and I'm not really using an over abundance of plugz. My hope is that Motu is taking this time to seriously address this issue and will release a kick ass new DP![/img]
