I rambled on another post but wanted to add to this post that this week I bought the new 2.8 8 core mac! I'm up in running in about 2 days time and will be using it for my work starting Monday. I did a clone of my Leopard partition on my PPC and it actually worked! Excited to test this sucker out. Keep ya posted.

I have it completely up. My biggest problem was not having a UAD card and waiting because they're backordered due to the f..ing february 31st deal deadlines. The ram I ordered from OWC is slow getting to me as well and this causes many halts on previous heavily loaded VI projects. From what I see so far though it's a screamer and will greatly improve my overall sound.
I'm keeping my G5 loaded with scsi 15k spin drives and 4.5gb of ram because it works so damn well as pointed out by others here before me. My G5 2.5 case is all scratched up and very used looking anyway so who would want it. Maybe Frodo will help me hook up and use my MIDI interface to lock it up as well for even more power..
