Hey, Zed. You scared the HELL out of me for a second. When I saw your avatar, I was like, you've GOT to be kidding me. Is THAT the new GUI?? This after I was looking forward to see a pick of the GUI.

That looks like a DAW for a teen age girl
Not as bad if you're colour blind (yes - 'colour' as in the Queen's English!)

Heh heh. Well I designed that image to be as ugly as possible... so it would create an instant reaction of disgust and concern. Glad I gotcha!

The more that I log in, though, and find this avatar jumping out at me, the more it is starting to grow on me. :-) I'm almost hoping that IS what the GUI will look like.

But not really. :-)
You might get a call from MOTU soon I reckon...

Perhaps they can give me a free copy of the upgrade in exchange for my brilliant Digital Performer skin designs. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to use a Girly Girl Pink skin set once in a while?

TM - hmmnnn... that's a mac only function obviously... My G5 Mac isn't online - the anti-virus software stuffs up a lot of other stuff, so I've taken that extreme measure of using a PC Notebook for internet. Works for me...

Dubnick wrote:On that link, a lot of the photos aren't showing up - is there any way of correcting that? I'll definitely check that out. I've used the line tool for automating vocal levels a lot, but still find modifying levels after the first pass frustrating - I will check out that post and see if it's helpful though. Thanks.
Can you tell why they're not showing up? When I open it, they all show up. Does it ask for a password? Is there just a question mark? Maybe try it again; maybe Apple's iDisk servers were down. It's working for me now.

I hope they optimized the code for LEOPARD...I think Digital Performer is at this time the DAW that is the heaviest program for our Intel CPU. Hope they optimized the source code...

In Fact DP6 seems to be AWESOME !!!! :) ;)
