:D 8) :D

Hopefully the package will include a "restoration" manual on par with the "mastering" manual that comes with oZone.

They hinted that they were working on one.

Fingers crossed.

Ripper, thanks for sharing that, Brad.

No need to open a seperate app; this is one of the aspects of PoCo's DeNoise that I really appreciated.

I'm using it, and yes it's a jaw dropper. Stand alone, and doesn't support SDII, but otherwise just great.

I'm coming from RayGun Pro - no comparison. I'm a hobby user, but retired so I spend a lot of time back here in the "studio".

There are some things which I expect will be "refined" if the app gains a broad enough user base for the authors to create new versions. I haven't yet spent the time to learn how to A/B using their menu/icon selection interface. Probably more me than them, but hey, I'm the market....

If you instantiate a batch process, it seems to me that the app want's all of your computer. There doesn't seem to be a "background" mode.

This next is not a complaint, but an observation. Some of the algorithms used for the detail process must be out of control. When they put in the parenthetical (slow) after one of the possible processes, they mean it!

At one point when playing with some 78 recordings, I set a scratch/dust removal process for batch mode using a process they marked as "(slow)" and specified six files (all about three minutes). My poor old Dual 2 GHz PPC G5 spent better than 8 hours on it!

RX saved my butt on lead vocal tracks for a folky project. The mic cord was picking up intermittent buzzy electrical interference, which I didn't notice during tracking. RX made it all go away. It was a Miracle!
