Cool! Thanks Shoosh for clearing that up. This will be my first real dive into VIs, so I'm still not sure how all the software works an plays with each other. I've been using the VIs packaged with Finale for a while (which only work with Finale), but now it's time to get serious and put DP to work. Up until now my work has been 99% audio only, but I find that more and more projects are coming in that require some VI work. With the stuff I'm doing, I think that GPO will be a good place to start.

Shooshie,
You mentioned that you're using a wx-5 with your Garritan instruments. How are you translating from breath (cc2) to mod wheel (cc1)? Are you doing this with the K2 player, or the full Kontakt?
Also, how have you set up the solo strad and cello for the wx-5? I'm thinking of trying the same thing, just haven't got around to it yet.
I was talking to Gary the other day, and mentioned your thread to him. He was heading off to NAMM at the time or would have signed up here and responded to you personally, but he asked me to pass along to you his thanks for your positive reaction to his instruments, your public sharing of that, and his satisfaction that his team's work continues to facilitate making music in many different ways.

Depending on how soon the standalone Aria player is coming, and whether existing products will be ported from Kontakt Player (and how soon), it might be best to continue working in the context of Kontakt Player vs. trying to port to Kontakt 3, would be my guess.
