Regarding the comment of surprise about lack of response on this thread (earlier -- now it's getting attention), I think that is because there was a very recent discussion of distortion and fuzz pedals that covered a lot of territory.
I'm not criticisng the post, as anyway it's about a specific pedal. But you might want to check out that other thread while you're at it. I think it also gave some links for discussions in other forums on quality boutique pedals.
