****UPDATE****
i am out for delivery
Hey homebilly, when did you register your "Evidence" with motu? Just wondering, still no sign of my shipment yet... I'd think i would've been fairly early, as I'd think anyone that uses unicornation would've had a jump on most others with even knowing about it

on the friday that it was announced
i emailed my receipt for my number 2 copy since my number 1 copy i bought before the free date. i hadn't even unwrapped the box in over a year. so i registered both copies and waited for the free one. now i'll pay the 200 bones since i think that it is a worthy update.

I got mine (free upgrade) on Friday, August 10th. It took a long time to load everything, and one disk (out of 5) was bad, so I've got to get a replacement for it. Fortunately, it works without that disk, but I'm missing a boatload of samples that were on it. I don't think my opinion will be complete until I get the full thing installed, but so far I really LOVE what I've seen and heard. This is a great instrument, as far as I can tell.

what i don't like so far is on the MIDI channel selection side
- there are now 16 letters worth of drop down menus just for M52
- each one with 16 MIDI channels.
- this makes my list really l-o-n-g
i hope that i can shorten the alphabetical M25 list to just what i need at the time. we'll see

A free upgrade sighting in the UK...
My free upgrade arrived this morning in a letter-box friendly padded envelope - no box, just the manual, DVDs and iLok chip all sealed together. I wasn't in when it arrived via the normal post, so I'm really appreciative of whoever decided that we upgraders don't need all the bulk. Hooray!

No, it's the chip that adds the V2 authorisation to your existing iLok.

I still got nothin'. Email on July 28 stating my eligibility and declaring intent to ship in 1-2 weeks. Nothing since.

I got my email notice on july 25 and haven't heard anything else since. my registration page at motu says I'm registered for v2.
that was 3 weeks so... I'd better check my spam filters. all of them. ok, I'm goin' in. if I don't come back tell my wife I love her, and we're almost out of milk.

We appreciate your patience, and you will receive a tracking notification via email when your upgrade package ships.

So hopefully this week.
