I had the latest firmware update...

I think that Motu made a terrible mistake to release to the market some very malfunctioning units of Traveler. I have received five different replacement units with different problems in each of them. No QC in Motu at all.

Now at least I received one that works... (Thank God!!!)

I'm having the same problem with my 896 (original) worked for 5 years and then pffft on wednesday last week i was doing a mix when all indicator lights for inputs and outputs quit moving despite there being playback in the s/w.

Turned off monitors and then cycled power and all it bleeding does is fail to initialise and now just the 44.1 clock rate lights just blink. Trid everything ... even installing the unit on another PC with working FW cables and it just does not start at all. An i have A/V projects in December.

drat. Let's see what tech support says other than the usual check your drivers.
