QT 7.2 Aaarrgh!

See, we're not all going insane as some developers (and some users) would have us believe....

Article: Apple looking into QuickTime 7.2 issue

Issues:

1. CFM Apps (ie: MS Office-apps)
2. PPC-based apps running on Intels

Duh. Not everyone is running PPC based apps or MS Office, so the quasi-disclaimer can be a tad misleading.

So today Apple releases a "Compatibility Update" to QT 7.2 :

Anyone know if it addresses any of the aforesaid issues? I've yet to update to 7.2 because I've been too terrified.

Supposedly only addresses iLife issues.

iSucks... (huh?)
