I've experienced the volume surge thing with VIs since moving to DP5. Fortunately, occurrences are extremely rare and have cost me little time. I see the issue as an occasional inconvenience, but only because I am not using DP in a live performance setting! I have reported the issue to MOTU.

Well, it isn't rare for me. It is definitely NOT cool. This bug alone would be enough to drive me to Logic or PT fulltime if anybody ever figures out that the problem lies with DP. Totally unacceptable. :x
