soundeziner wrote:Wow! Is that Monkey on your back comprised of 15 nicotine patches and 12 cups of coffee?
Ha!
Not sure if any number of patches could've helped me yesterday.
I felt terrible before logging on, and even worse thereafter.

It was certainly a rare day, and given the state I was in, I'm sure you'd have understood why I was defensive.
Let's just say it seemed all the things I strive for, including my justifications for them and personal life-rules, were under assault.
It felt like all I've struggled for was being eroded, devalued and questioned unreasonably yesterday.
Your questions were on the back-end of this disastrous, day-long sequence.
FWIW, I didn't sleep and almost got out of bed several times to apologise to you, but on each occasion figured I'd get some shut-eye if I "just relaxed" and waited a little longer.
Besides, it was surely needed and would (theoretically) stabilize the implosion-in-progress!

I figured I'd PM you and beg your understanding and forgiveness, which I'm about to do.
soundeziner wrote:You were not being trolled.
Phew! What a relief; I'm still recovering from my last encounter. :D
soundeziner wrote:Yes, I generalized a bit when I used the word 'policy' MOTU has had many great moments and products over the years. M5 V2 just hasn't been one of them thus far (not an unrealistic or over the top observation).
Agreed, however we haven't seen it, so it seems a bit premature to me for us to judge it.
It hasn't been a great product thus far, 'cause it hasn't been a product!
It's been mooted, that's all.
soundeziner wrote:With a user base that is dropping like flies, I don't see much hope for it.
I do, 'cause folks jump onto great-sounding, easy-to-use, cheap (ish) software like flies to a turd.
It works both ways. Many will use a combination of samplers, as has been revealed in Machy threads.
soundeziner wrote:Anyone reading through the Mach5 threads will find an abundance of posts by you which are quite positive about MOTU, Mach 5, and the upcoming V2. I wanted to know why, so I asked. Not even close to an 'interrogation' I don't want to get you all hyper defensive again so I won't post anymore questions your way.
It wasn't you, as you correctly observed, soundeziner; it was my stupidity.
Whilst I don't blame you for not wanting to interact again with me, rest assured you now hold a special place in my Unicorn Gallery of Poo-flingin' recipients.
Should you need anything, I'll do my best to be there.
soundeziner wrote:New Rule - Don't ask the Monkey why he is always smiling. He doesn't bite but he does start to fling $#!+ everywhere!!
Ha! I love it when folks talk about the silly ape in the third person.
Dummo why; it just cracks me up.
My vaccuum cleaner and detergents are already in use; I've cleaned most of the walls, with just the floor to go.
Here, have a towell and some soap; you've got some on your forehead.

No need to ask me why I'm always smiling; I'll tell you.
When one (in this case, I) feels there's nothing left to smile about, that's when one simply must do it.
Works for me, at least; I wouldn't be around if it didn't.
The happier I appear to be, and the more "jokes" I attempt, the more you can assume I'm struggling.
Hey, it's my weapon of choice against ridiculous challenges.

Again, I'm sorry for my childish reaction, soundeziner; the post in question has been decontaminated.
Only a slight whiff of poo remains.

I reckon you're a legend for not coming down harder on me.

Your embarrassed mate

Hey, there is truth to the saying if you think positive, things will be positive. It's all about energy, and what you dispense can either be positive or negative. If the former, then it's likely to back around your way even stronger, and don't even bother with the latter, it's a waste of time.

Too troo, Billy-boy; thanks for the pearl.

Poomanchu. I love it.

Has the Monkey been writing music lately or just polishing his bannana?

`
He hasn't even been able to find his banana.
He suspects part of his brain, such that it is, leaked out when he imploded the other day.
Fault-line cracks give the game away. :?

No worries; what with the old hag, er, new missus 'n all, I'm always gonna look good.
The new jewel of my avatar is easy to please; she gets a pleasant surprise every 5 seconds.
Tough on the lungs, though.

Ah Yes,

So I had version Kontakt 2 running inside DP no problemo...

But back to the past authorization heartaches.

I've installed the 2.2.1 update and now DP won't see her even after I've reauthorized.

Damn!!!
