Bounce to disk weirdness DP 5 - Help!

Had this trouble several times this weekend but I found a consistent solution.

I merged all tracks from beginning to end.

Worked consistently like a charm.

I tried merging all of the tracks, soundbites, files, etc. STILL had dropouts. CHECK YOUR MIXES -- sometimes you can't catch it visually.

This is a MAJOR bug in DP 5.1. I spoke with MOTU again yesterday and they're sending me 4.6.1. I'm not going back to 5 until they fix this.

If you're having this issue -- call them or email and let them know.

same problem with me as well - sometimes everything bounces ok, sometimes whole sections drop out - tried bouncing to aiff- seems to be more stable...

Sorry you're still having trouble. I also dump my unused soundbites and undo Hx before I bounce. Good Luck.
