if you get true strike you'll need the giga 2.5 version and not the GS3 as machfive currently can't convert them. i went through that one....:(
mach five II is supposed to do 24bit........?

i haven't gotten to the toms or timps yet but i'll check them out ASAP for you. i have been using a basic percussion patch that has been great as it covers most everything. i have too many choices these days so i haven't gotten around to fully checking everything that i own out yet. i usually try out a different set on every new project to see how well it hangs under fire.

as far as performance goes all is well but as i use a second mac for some things i don't always have a perception of performance on the main M5 mac.
the TS stuff isn't all heavey loading so it hasn't been a problem. it's not until i load up atmosphere and trilogy that things get fun.

Thanks for checking! It makes me feel a lot better knowing at least someone out there has tried it and it has worked!

I'm really going to have to put Sam and Dan Dean on my list. I keep hearing user mixes that make me sit up and take notice...

I know this guy used all Project Sam and Dan Dean stuff on this.
