Geez, still less than 300 views?

EDIT: Well, it's exceeded this number by a bunch now.

I thought people would appreciate some free, easy-to-grab DP presets, but I'm beginning to wonder. Did I just waste my time with this endeavor? Seems like the negative-vibe threads get more attention than my meagar effort at good spirits. Hell, the touch screen discussion is getting more traffic than this. That sucks.

EDIT: Nothing sucks anymore. Ignore the whiny drumstick hocker. Carry on.

Dunno... how many are still doing the upgrade to DP5?

But, I will say this:

These FREE patches from chrispick are sweet, and you're foolish if you don't download them, get the vibe going, and show chrispick some love.

I'm looking forward to checking them out! I've had a really busy week but will download them first thing Monday if they're still going to be up. I appreciate them, even though I haven't heard them. I love a good preset, VI or otherwise.

I'll keep them up for a couple of weeks. Definitely grab them when you get a chance. Hope you dig them.

Amazingly, I haven't even opened Digital Performer since last Sunday. Instead, I've been working in Microsoft Excel, which crashes two or three times a day. I literally save after every move. If DP was that bad, I'd be using Logic by now. So, I haven't even had a chance to try out your first round of Modulo patches. But I did download them. (now... to remember where I put them! ;)) I'm looking forward to them when I get back into Modulo again, which may be yet another week, as I'm about to be really busy on another project for a while.

But Chris, I think you've missed the basic rules of marketing here. If you want to successfully give these things away, you have to offer free beer served by scantily clad women with each download. I think that should do the trick. er... so to speak.

Hey, I'm not saying people need to download my presets (although they're there to do so, should they want). And those that grab them can hate them and delete them off their box if they want. That's all cool.

I'm just perplexed at the small number of hits this thread is getting, given it links to free stuff. I mean, I thought more people would at least look at this thread out of curiosity, if not plain greed.

I'm greed-enabling here people.

Finally got the patches, love'em thank you! very useful compared to what you get out of the box, hands down brought the modulo to life. at least for me. i really love the modulation and the way you get a cool vibrato or sweep type effect.. im gonna get into the manuel and learn how to do that myself. im seriously inspired.
