I put off buying the Waves GTR because I thought AT2 would be forthcoming with more stuff and because I already had AT1.
If this thing ever does get off the ground it should be a hell of a program.
Dan:(
Well, it took Waves forever to get MAS support for GTR too...

Yes, but A2 is supposed to be AU!!! I still can't figure out why the Waveshell AU won't work with DP. I know DP essentially uses a wrapper for AUs, but if "a"="b" and "b"="c", then "a"="c", right? The Waveshell MAS is buggy to begin with, but I wish MOTU would just dump MAS altogether.

Yes it does. I wonder if anyone out there who are using
DP and AT2, were able to get this thing to work.
They should have tested it with DP, so somebody should have
success using it, meaning, atleast making DP to run.
Or maybe they didn`t test it..

BTW, I sent a support form too.

I would recommend going with a Pod XT.
It will also still be worth something when you decide you want to get rid of it, unlike software.

I have A2 working fine on my computer. Go to ikmultimedia.com and download version 2.1. I am using DP 4.61 it takes up a lot of processing power but it is working.

I accessed the user area now and looked for 2.1,
but there was no 2.1. But only 2.0.1.
Or are you talking about 2.0.1 ?
Because I`ve installed it from start.
When I first went to the users area, it was already 2.0.1,
so I never got 2.0.
But its good to hear some users are able to use it.
Maybe its conclicting with another plugin...
What OS are you on ?

sorry I ment 2.0.1 or what ever it is.
I am running mac os 10.4.6. It is working with waves ssl plug-ins and altiverb. Runs fine just uses up a lot of the cpu, way more than A1. the sounds are much better. Hope you get it to work.

Thanks
I run OS10.3.9 and Kontakt 2
and a few Kompakt Player based sample libraries.
I really hope IK releases an update soon.
About the CPU hog, I saw someelse saying the same thing in
this thread, and told IK about it and it seems they know about it
and are going to fix it, which is great.
