Whatever you'd like to do Andy. It's certainly no imposition.

Thanks for your graciousness as always, James. There's a new set of pics on the 7.2 themes page called "In Progress"... should be fun for everyone to have an idea of what's coming.

If I may speak for most of us for just a moment, I think that AmpGUI deserves an "unfair" exposure, given that you almost single-handedly inspired MOTU to give us Themes. Does that not deserve some kind of reward?

James, I haven't been through the stickies lately. Is there one we could perhaps cull and replace with AmpGUI? Just a suggestion; if that's going too far for you, then so be it, but it sure wouldn't be too far in my opinion. Heck, this guy just added his own feature to DP in so many words. He changed the official face of what we work with. It might be nice for new users and old alike to know right where to find it. This isn't merely a plugin; this is the FRONT end.
And if someone doesn't mind hosting the graphics, I'd put a 90% full-screen picture of each one of them, possibly two screens each to show all the main pages, in a series of posts or one-off links. I'd be willing to add a paragraph or two about each one if Andy were willing.

"How much did you say you think these would cost? $500? $1000? No! For just $99 you get the whole set, plus Andy will throw in Notepad, Clock, and Reversi for FREE! Can you beat that anywhere? Order Now! Operators are standing by everywhere in the USA (But not in Nebraska!)" Link for reference

Actually, I think I could come up with something a wee-bit better than that. Anyway, the question is whether this should become a sticky, as I proposed it. It would be easy to find. If it's unfair, then call it "DP Themes from MOTUNation"

THAT can be arranged!

Just kidding. You've already paid me in mods/themes that make my workday MUCH happier. Money can't buy that.

There's one small bummer with the new theme structure in 7.2...

I got so excited when I saw all the cursor graphic files. That's one of the last frontiers on the GUI front, and I'm diving in to getting all those customized for the mods. The bad news is that MOTU hasn't found a way to allow DP to switch those on the fly with the rest of the theme. It's an OS X thing, and they are trying to find a way around it.

For now, you can still switch on the fly to see the overall look of a theme, but you have to restart DP to get the custom cursors.

Andy... I embedded the QuickTime for you in your post above. Check out the "QuickTime" BB Code in the message editor for the board now. Syntax is shown when you hover the cursor of the "QuickTime" button.

No biggie... I just need to make sure it's not abused. It's really intended so we can post items related to DP, etc. Not so much boxing kittens and stuff! LOL

Dood! You are THE dood. I hate it when I lose my cursor, meaning that it blends in too much and I can't see it until I send it sailing to a corner and then bring it out slowly. These cursors solve that problem 100%. Thank you!

You're getting so good at this! I didn't think there was any room for improvement even back at the first Gold Complete, but you just keep surprising me. The only thing I don't like about this new theme is that it's likely to steal me away from Oxidized, at least part of the time, just as Sleek has done. Oxidized coincidentally matches the color I stained and varnished my desk when I built it. It's really cool to see it there, full screen, looking like it was designed as part of the desk. (I can't believe I just expressed satisfaction because my software GUI now matches my desk.)

This new one (what are you going to call it?) compliments it without matching. Looks great. It really does.

Once I get them finalized in this new mod they will be pretty easy to translate to all the others, I'm hoping.
