I see "Error retrieving keycode"
Yes, I got that too.
Also, after my payment was processed, when I got the page "Your motu.com store order is now complete", it contained the name, address, and phone number of
someone else! I'm pretty sure the serial number was also his. I haven't received an email with an order number yet, so I don't know if the one on that page is his.
Before I checked out, I confirmed that they had my correct info.
I got an email confirmation with key code, and DP 10 appears in my list of registered products. But it looks like I can't register the new sound library until they fix the keycode retrieval error.
I seem to recall temporary issues like this before in earlier big rollouts.

Can anyone confirm that this is that case, and know if DP 10 resolves this? This functionality is a big part of the reason I went for a complete MOTU setup.
No. Direct Hardware Monitoring is a thing of the past

It’s a hardware thing, not a software (DP) thing.
I was an early AVB adopter in 2014 when they were released, have asked about DHP since then, it's always been a 'maybe' response.
I think the assumption is that most people are fully ITB and can work easily from the AVB control app.
If you are working with an analog mixer, as many music studios do, it's a real pain and huge efficiency suck. I built an insanely complex AVB mixer to cover my needs and it was really too much to try and drive in a large tracking session with spot fixes and overdubs mixed in. It'd work fine with a 2nd engineer driving the AVB mix side of things, but not for a single operator attempting to mirror 2 different mixers, which is what you are forced to do.
Talkback was the biggest unsolved bottleneck, though maybe that's been added in the latest version.
I punted and added another patchbay split which feeds my console B-Mix faders, and that acts as close to DHP as I've found, though you still have to actively assign/de-assign live inputs and there's no auto-muting capability during playback.
I'd still love to see DHP added to the AVB hardware code, but I gave up waiting long ago.

If you haven't already, create a Tech Link. They responded to mine in less than an hour today.
I emailed Customer Service yesteday about that, and also about the glitch where I saw someone else's info on the "sale completed" page. I still haven't heard back.
Today I called, but after 15 minutes on hold, decided to try the Tech Link. Glad I did!
Thanks! just what I did, got a response in 15 minutes.

FWIW, I had a few custom pngs to convert to Retina for a new UHF display. I've been using GraphicConverter. It has a batch function, and I was able to do this for the pngs I have by simply doubling the image sizes with no interpolation. I don't know if this would work for all the images in a theme, but I bet it would work for a lot of them.

Something new in Sequence editor?
In the SE window just to the left of a track's little zoom waveform magnifier is an arrow. Clicking on it reveals a drop-down of the track's inserts. Is this new or have I just missed it in the past?

I called and they fixed my registration page in about two minutes. Pretty short hold time this morning - maybe 3 minutes.

How long ago was this? Does anyone know if they've fixed the registration process yet?

Yep. Same here. I sent a ticket this morning (8:00 GMT) and got it fixed a few minutes ago. I'll check as soon as I'm back in the studio. They must be very busy but are willing to help asap. No complaints about tech support nor customer support

Your sig says you're running OS 10.10. DP10 requires 10.11 or later.

Got my upgrade key code from Sweetwater this morning and activated. Logged into my account and my registration had been updated.
There are all my extra downloads just waiting—a job for another time.
I noticed that I couldn't drag my 10 alias into the dock until I trashed the one for 9. Then I could drag both in. The normal explanation for that is that the installer had overwritten the dock icon but the icon was showing incorrectly. This is a symptom of corrupt pathways meaning that a Safe Boot is overdue—when I have 15 minutes.

Ah. Wow it
has been awhile... Crashes using new DP10 features seem to be much more common so far from what I can see. I too had a couple crashes when messing with Clips too. However, using DP10 just as I did 9.52 is totally solid. Hopefully there'll be an update that smooths out some of the new features before I have time to fully explore them.
