FWIW....
I'm a fader fan.
I like having the tactile sense of physical faders.
When I'm mixing in DP, I often use the faders in a Tascam DM mixer to control and automate DP's volumes, pans and effect sends.
I come from an analogue console background, so this kind of fader control is a great solution for me.
It works... right now... on DP8.
Between this and the iPad V-Control app, I've got my hands full.
More real time control than I could have dreamed of a few years ago.

What I mean is the PCI-424e card that goes inside the Mac, that interfaces are connected to via AudioWire cables. MOTU seems to be moving away from interfaces that require a card (since the newest MacPro doesn't have slots and the MOTU card is not compatible with Thunderbolt to PCIe expansion chassis). So I doubt that bug will be fixed on those system... ever.

I am using 896mk3 and /H ( 2 p/ 3 p )
the only PCI I ever used was G4 with AMII
There is hope then ?
But I am at DP 7.24 and 10.6.8, Mac Mini 1,1 and 4,1
And now with the X32Core also much smaller live ( 32 CH )
