5.13 was working for me and ironically it was his release of the "Nostalgia" scheme for 7 that just floored me into finally taking the plunge. I guess the improved performance was cool too

I use the "dark" and "gold" schemes too.

Ken-

I also use Nostalgia: a real deal-maker for me! (works great on 7.11)

PS: I just donated as well...:-)

Okay, I think I've got a new structure in mind.

Some of these will always remain free, but the newer more advanced versions will move into a donation-only realm.

*$15-20 dollars per mod, free increment updates.
**Most increment updates have been easy, but some have been a lot of work. This will have to be carefully considered.

*Some attractive package price for all the mods, depending on how many are in the pool at the time, with free increment updates.

Tech support has been pretty manageable, as I think I've got installation instructions anyone can understand. Once it's installed, I don't really hear much except for suggestions. Good thing, right?

Of course all who have donated up to this point will have their donations applied forward.

To be implemented soon...

Great! At this point, I'm really uncomfortable even looking at the original DP whitewash. Your mods have become a necessity here... Thanks for staying on it!

I'm in 5.13. I have become so accustomed to the GUI in 5.13 that I really don't notice it... I just work. I think that's what's MOST important. Are you getting work done. I liked what shapeshifter did for OS X because I could darken up the colors a bit with it. It's no longer usable in Leo so I have just become accustomed to it (the standard aqua GUI) and don't miss it really.
What's most important is if the colors distract you in long term viewing then try a mod, if they don't... it doesn't matter.

Man, Rigel, everyone's entitled to their opinion... but we went through this recently with FutureLegends basically coming in here and saying what I'm doing is irrelevant and not really that important. I'm trying to stay motivated to move forward and keep this happening for those that need it, and a large presence on the board such as yourself saying it doesn't matter...

I'm not asking for strokes all day long, but maybe I am asking for people not to go out of their way to marginilize the effort.

Ah, don't worry about New Rigel. He's not suggesting that there's no value to what you do. He just likes to tell people how he does things, which is of course always an option for anyone. And there's something to be said for simplicity, for not making one's setup too complex, but modding is not complex. I imagine if NR tried some of your mods, and saw how RIDICULOUSLY EASY it is to mod, since MOTU provided us with a direct means of doing it, which was obviously programmed for this very purpose, he would probably fall in love with at least half a dozen of your mods and never go back.

I'm in love with them.
I dumped all my girlfriends for them!

Don't be discouraged Mr Dood, for every 1 negative person/comment, there are a 100 other people out there thinking positive things about your work.

I'll top up my donation for Sleek as soon as the money I recently transferred makes its way into my PayPal account.
Cheers,
BK

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.
