traveler question

hi there can i use the mic preamp inputs on the traveler for line level instruments synths etc and what would happen if i switched the phantom power on while say a synth was connected. cheers

Well u can use as line inputs.
I'm not sure what happens when u power the phantom while a synth is connected, maybe u break your audio monitors...

I haven't seen the wiring diagram of the combo 1/4"-XLR connector on the Traveler, but I assume that phantom power would only be applied to the XLR pins 2 & 3. So, probably nothing would happen if you turn on phantom power with a synth plugged into the 1/4" input. Still, I'd avoid it if possible. Sounds like you may have already done it and wonder if you blew anything up?
