Which non-Apple 20inch wide LCDs displays do you like?

this one looks good too - an excellent monitor, good price

SAMSUNG 204B
339.00 less 60 rebate = 279.00
That one gets excellent reviews.

Check out the Dell and Philips 20" widescreens.
I forget the model-number of the above to monitors - but the fact is that
Philps are manufacturing the display-elements.
So the two above are for all technical aspects the same monitors as Apple 20" widescreen the aluminum model.
Cheers: Dixiechicken

This applies to the Dells as well as the Philips displays?dixiechicken wrote:Check out the Dell and Philips 20" widescreens...So the two above are for all technical aspects the same monitors as Apple 20" widescreen the aluminum model.

If so, my original choice 6 months ago (Dells) still looks really good.
Just not sure when the purchasin' will happen, but it's better to be prepared and protected from "impulse buying".
Q: Hey; why did the chicken cross the road?
A: It got sick of whistlin' dixie.
That one's for you (bad as it is), dixiechicken.
Thanks, dude.

I do video and graphics so afters seeing a number of monitors side by side I did get an apple display. you can realy see the the way colors blend and the gradents in them. For just music I would have gone with something like the Veiw sonic.
