Input Monitoring Issue (Bug??)

I have an issue with Audio Patch Thru. When set to Auto or Input Only, the signal is still audible when the record button is off and when the input monitor is off as well. I have to toggle the record button on and off again to get the signal to mute.
Has anyone experienced this?

You could be hearing core through PCI audio console.. I forget to check that sometime.

I don't think so. If I toggle it once on an off it goes back to normal.

Please report back *more*, DP 5 users...
This 'new input monitoring cheme' was exactly
what I was looking at to upgrade...
I'm holding back because of other reported issues,
but if the 'new input monitoring cheme' isn't working anyway, I can concentrate on other things than upgrading to DP 5

There is definitely something up but I would not let it hold you back from upgrading. There are some issues that need to be addressed but nothing that has kept me from working in a professional environment.

I also have the bug of it not working properly unless I switch input monitoring off and on...then seems to work ok. Dual 2GHz G5, 1G RAM, DP5.01

Actually, he doesn't mention an input monitor switch at all.
