Every time I try to load dp4.61 on my new (used) powerbook it freezes at item #444 which is the DAE. The comp. is running OS 10.4.6 which I just downloaded a few days ago. Someone please help me, this down time is killing me!!!

What hardware? DAE is for Digidesign hardware. Are you running a Digi interface, such as an M-box or 002? Have you downloaded the Digi core audio driver? Set your system sound preferences to use internal input/output before launch and see if that helps. Just some ideas. Good luck.
