"MOTU 828mkII" appears, then a second later, "CueMix DSP" appears.
Then, the "MOT" of MOTU dissapears, and it's frozen. the firmware number does not appear.
it does this with and without the firewire cable attatched. Sample rate does not light up.
HELP, I have a live recording tomorrow night.

You might be in trouble. For a long shot, try (with power not connected) moving the red 110/220 switch back and forth (and then back to the right position!!). THere's also a way to do a total factory reset. I forget how, but a search on "828 factory reset" or the on this board or MOTU's support database should get you there. Also, get on the phone with MOTU in the morning. BE THE FIRST CALLER. Things in the AM are much less busy than later in the day.

Unfortunately in order to do the factory reset the 828 has to boot in the first place. It looks like I'm calling.Smokehouse wrote:You might be in trouble.
