I have a few questions??....and I'll prioritize them to make this easy.
I run DP3 on OS 9.somthing. I do this becauseI like OS 9 better than OSX (it seems faster) and I'm too poor/cheap to upgrade. I record primarily live audio, but often track MIDI drums using a TD-10, a MOTU2408 and a Midiman hooked up to a Mac G4 733hz.
Question 1. Can I search this site or better narrow my search for things only pertaining to DP3? or.... is there another site that only catalogs that version
Question 2. Is there a vast difference between DP3 and the current DP with my applications in mind?
Question 3. What is the cheapest way to add analog inputs to the 2408....A used A-DAT???
Thanks Guys.

dp3
i ran dp3 for years and loved loved loved it.
then i finally made the transition to osx and dp4..then4.6 and holy bubbliscious!
anyway, you didn't ask for a review on dp4.
get an 828. used or new. i still have my original one that i got with my dp3 set-up. i also have a yamaha 01v board with the ADAT card, so i can go digitally 8 in and out using the 828. with eight channels of balanced/unbalanced analog input and output using 24-bit converters with 105 dB dynamic range, eight channels of 24-bit ADAT lightpipe and stereo S/PDIF I/O, the 828 provides a grand total of 18 simultaneous inputs and outputs.
the thing rox.
good luck and when you decide to make the leap, you won't regret a penny spent.
not much support out there for the old schoolies. sorry.
