DP5 won't be released as UB until 2nd quarter '06.

Yes, it sounds better. And it is snappier. It's brought new life to my dual 2.7 G5.

Well as they say, the only thing better than music is silence :-).

And that must be what DP 5 produces vs. DP 4.6, as it is not yet out!

I know it's not out yet, but I'm just absolutely certain that it sounds better. And, I don't think it's in my head!

Yeah, I agree. If I had to gauge it, I'd say it's .39 better than 4.61. YMMV.

WARNING! don't install DP5! I did and it hosed my system and I had to buy a new computer and it caught fire and my checkbook won't balance now either.

MOTU SUX!



I just wanted to be the first to put that up. oh wait, that's KVR. never mind.

Just installed the latest DP and I am getting great sounds from all of the supplied samples. Oh, wait, I meant Dimension Pro.
8-core i9 MacBookPro 16-inch, 16gb ram, Catalina, Focusrite Scarlett 18i8, DP not installed yet

Exactly 23% snappier here and my mix CD's have a fresher, cleaner scent and the new VI's have helped me lose 12 lbs in less than 2 months and track folders helped find my lost dog Muffy.

I just hope DP6 implements World Peace!

Usually I think these kind of posts are a waste of server space but I must admit I chuckled.
