Tracks Overview - Zoom of Tracks

Post by Guitar Gaz »

I'm in Tracks overview and I try to zoom the view of the tracks by clicking on the plus sign at the bottom right corner - and it goes way bigger than I want it. Any way of zooming tracks to fit the screen ? I can't find this anywhere.

In the Tracks window it goes from (512, 256, 128) 64 bars, to 32 bars, 16 bars, 8, 4, 2, 1, 1/4 notes, 1/8 notes, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64.

In Sequence Edit and MIDI Graphic Edit one can Zoom To Selection (bounds) with Command-Option-S.

Thanks Tim - I'm looking at lots of custom window sets to offset this. I guess this is the way to go.....

Don't forget the CONTROL-CLICK on the top of the green wiper (the translucent little square thingy) while mousing up and down. The window will zoom in and out proportionately to your dragging the mouse.

Come to think of it, that doesn't work in the Tracks Overview window. But it works in the MIDI Edit windows and Sequence window.

[Edit]CONTROL-CLICKING anywhere on the green wiper will zoom the tracks. It doesn't have to be in the little "glass" pane. Just checked on that. [/edit]

And hold the Command key too if you want the wiper to hold still while zooming.
