Immersive sound for MOTU devices update

Post by Richard Foss »

This is a follow up message to one I posted previously about ImmerGo-MOTU, a program that enables spatialisation of any inputs (analog, USB, etc) to MOTU AVB devices. There have been a few updates:

1. Enabled for Apple silicon
2. Spatialisation of reverb bus
3. Linking of tracks to be spatialised
4. Additional spatial rendering algorithms - now DBAP, VBAP, VBIP, layer based VBAP and VBIP
5. Ability to direct chosen tracks to bass speakers

Here is a video describing the capabilities.

The video uses Reaper as the DAW, however Digital Performer can also be used and its usage is described in the manual.
A demo and manual can be downloaded from www.immersivedsp.com

I also want to follow up here as owner and moderator of this board, that I saw Richard's initial post in the OT forum and felt it was important that as many users see it as possible, so it was at my suggestion that he posted this in multiple forums. Didn't want anyone giving him a hard time. I asked him to post in ALL applicable forums! Thanks!
