Mach5 and macintel

Post by pedrocastillo »

has anybody tried mach5 with the new imac intel? i did with negative results. the good news is that i could run DP 4.61 in the new mac but mach5 ver 1.2.3 asks for missing extensions on the pace web site. i downloaded the extensions and the same thing happens. i downloaded the interlock extensions on the motu web site and the same thing happens. i ask motu tech support and they did not answer.

The Mach Five is not up to Mac Intel specs yet. I am shocked to learn that your DP is working though. Wait till maybe June before mach five or any other software is up to speed for Mac Intel.

MachFive can run on MachIntel with the roseta emulation layer. However it can't be run on MacIntel now because there is no iLok support for those machines yet. I'm not sure PACE is going to enable roseta applications to use the iLok as this could be a real technical headhache. You'll have to wait for MachFive II.
