Re: DP 11.04 Released
It crashes plenty and freezes me out of being able to click on things on my windows laptop. Same projects seems to be ok on my Mojave hackintosh but I haven't been using it that much. And in case anyone hasn't noticed motu changed their phone tech support hours to 1-5 est.
Latest DP, Gigabyte Designaire z390 i9 Hackintosh 32G Ram, Lucid ADA88192, RME FF800 and FF802 on M1 MPB, Ventura, and a Pencilina

Re: DP 11.04 Released
So DP's issues like this are almost always due to some plug in or another, and it seems as true or more for the Windows version. The fun part about cross platform plug ins is that they can work fine on one OS and be trashy on the other, the most obvious example is from a lifetime ago, but NI Absynth was a resource hog on Window, but fine on Mac, and Reaktor was a crash fest on Mac but not Windows.pencilina wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 3:03 pm It crashes plenty and freezes me out of being able to click on things on my windows laptop. Doesn't Windows allow for multiple plug in folder locations? attempting to find the errant VSTs is the way to go. I can't 100% recall but in my case the AU version of Cypher 2 crashes DP. With you that would be VST2 or VST3.
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

Re: DP 11.04 Released
Yes. Thanks. I agree that these issues are probably plug in related. I try and stick with VST2 on doze for cross platform. After all the issues I've had attempting to do work on DP on widows I'll probably just stop trying to get it to work and use a mac laptop or just not use any plugins which isn't much fun or effective when I need to be creative. My hopes were up with with some of 11.04 fixes but It's been a joke. I don't think they do much testing on windows.Michael Canavan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 3:15 pm So DP's issues like this are almost always due to some plug in or another, and it seems as true or more for the Windows version. Re: DP 11.04 Released
DP 11.04 is pretty unstable on my MBP. It's crashing a lot when I drag soundbites.
