They've simplified the authorization procedure. All that's needed now is your name and serial number.

Name, "rank" and serial number?

Hi,

A small note for those still considering TruePianos. Till the end of the year we have a Christmas discount which takes off 33% of the price. The interesting part for some of you might be that the unicornation discount still can be applied over the already reduced price.

Anyone still use TruePianos?

I didn't have installed for quite a while but thought it might come in handy for a project I have going. The site is still there and it was updated in 2017. My ID and PW still works there. Works on Catalina.

Interesting. You can really hear the differences between the various models. Not bad for $70. If you want a nice Vince Guaraldi Steinway B or the Bruce Hornsby "Baldwin on steroids" sound from the '80s plus a non-hyped Bösendorfer(!), they got you covered. Don't know that I need these but at that price?

Yes, the price seems nuts now. But 15 years ago, a lot of people here were all over it. And my licence from then is still working. I never installed it on the new computer. But it has it’s uses.

I use it a lot. Atlantis module is my favorite.

I just re=installed and set it up in a new project using Atlantis. Glad I did -- it's great. It might not sound exactly like a real live piano, but it sure sounds like a properly recorded piano.

I've still got truepianos too. I got carried away by Pianoteq 7 for a while which is great.

Mostly just play straight from my Yamaha P-121 at the moment.

Amazing how it still holds up pretty well all these years later.
