Traveler disappeared after changing internal SSD drive

Post by larsmagnus »

MBP MID 2014 on OS 10.14

After changing my internal drive and installing it with a Time Machine backup my Traveler mk 1 don´t show.
Worked just fine before.
I erased and reinstalled the MOTU driver (10.6) but itś still invisible.
Restarted in different combinations reseting PRAM, SMC etc.

Any suggestions?

You need to reinstall the driver then do this within 30 minutes.

Did you replace the AHCI drive with an NVMe 3 x4 blade?

Wonderful, that fixed it!
I did know that new drivers could show up there, but not about the 30 min limit.
I probably missed it due to that reason.
You are my hero for today, Ím very greatful!

I just replaced the original Samsung SSD with the same. The old one was warning for S.M.A.R.T. failure.
