new 828ES not seen over thunderbolt (but is on usb)
ok so I have installed the drivers, dealt with the absurd allowance in Mojave for the drivers (what a headache and I forget it all the time when installing new drivers!). Now I have the unit installed in the rack but it will not appear over thunderbolt. I finally got it working over USB but it just simply wont work over thunderbolt. I have tried going through my thunderbolt hub, direct, swapping cables etc. rebooting , reinstalling the drivers etc. nothing seems to be working. it worked just fine with my clarett 8 pre x ...

AMPGUI themes - Andy rocks!, 3 macs, MacPro 768GB ram, 16core OS12.7.5, DP11.32, all Waves, all SLATE,PSP, IK multimedia & Audioease plugs, all PAlliance, Softube, most all Orchestral Tools, tons of NI VI's all air Spitfire, all Audiobro, all Berlin, EW PLAY, LLizard, MachFive3, Kontakt5, Omnisphere, RMX, LASS, all Soundtoys, Lexicon AU's, melodyne and others I know am forgetting, cause I'm old...Also mucho outboard rigs, MTPs, DTP, antelope WC, and 4 control surfaces with Raven.

I run my 828es via USB (my Mac 5,1 has no Thunderbolt ports), so can only suggest reaching out to MOTU. Has anyone with this issue done so and, if so, what was the result?
