Because of the title of this post, it comes up when you search for "digital performer rename sequence".
So let me answer that question here.
The easiest way to rename a sequence is to option click (Mac) on the Name in the Chunks list.
MOTU: Please put Rename into the right click menu, as per Track names in the Sequence window. I would like there to be more logic and consistency in where to find things in DP.

It couldn't hurt to have it in a dropdown, but frankly, that's a lot more effort than hitting the option key and clicking, IMO. Besides, that's kind of how it works across the entire OS, so it makes perfect sense.

If I were to complain about anything in that regard in DP it would be cmd-f. In all other programs it is the find key. In DP it's the "filter" key (by default, at any rate). Hit that and dismiss the the dialogue box by hitting the bottom right selection and all your data becomes invisible.

Now THAT really should change. Adding a rename to the dropdown? Maybe after I get chunk folders...

Hey MLC

The command F thing has never come up for me, but thanks for the warning.
I'd hate to lose the visibility of data without knowing why.

The command F keystroke can be easily redefined for you right now.
Go to commands window and search for filter.
Clear the current assignment and replace with your choice.

What do you want command F to do in DP?
Find what?
All is well
