Dp9 all 3rd party AU plugins gone and AU VI's

Post by tomf »

All my AU non-MAS plugins and VI’s have disappeared from Digital Performer 9.52. I get a window showing they are missing even M5 is gone. All my 3rd party plugins are gone as well. I opened different projects, no luck. I tried using Time Machine to go to where I knew it worked, no luck. I down loaded the DP 9.52 update and reinstalled it, no luck. I updated iLock, no luck. I reinstalled M5 via update, no luck. In the plugins window of DP AU’s do not show up but VAST do and of course MAS. The VI’s will open on their own with out DP so they are working. Mac Pro 12 core Mid 2010 OSX- 10.12.6. Going crazy here!

Perhaps there should be a banner pointing to the thread where this is discussed. It's not just DP.

That is what I did I updated my phone. I typed in my problem in the search here but nothing came up. So it may be a good idea to put a banner up.
Thanks for your help. Updated to 10.13.6 and it works now.

The advanced search doesn't work if you type in more than two words and they have to be over 4 characters. Had you typed in plugins missing, you would have found all of the threads — but how is anyone to know that?

A Google search is generally the best way to search these boards.

Had you typed the problem into a Google search, you would have found a number of sites dedicated to Pro Tools discussing this issue with OS Sierra and earlier.

I have no idea if the iOS 13.1.3 update released yesterday addressed this at all. My Macs are on Mojave, High Sierra and Catalina.

Hi there,
same here...I actually also updated my phone yesterday, turned off gear, turned it on today and been struggling for about 8 hours to figure out what it could be...
If anyone has a solution, I guess it will be more than appreciated and helpful
Thanks

Granted the Advanced search on phpBB leaves a lot to be desired. I think there WAS a way to imbed a Google search function up at the top of the site, but I don't have time to do that. Good thing, is I made this site crawlable by Google and other search engines and you don't need to be signed up hear to see the posts. So if you use Google (or presumably other search engines) and add "site:motunation.com" (no quotes) at the end of your search string it will confine your search to this site. Hope that helps.
