Is DP10 working as a stable platform for you?
I'm still on 9 and it is fine.
I've read about many problems with 10.
This is the first time I haven't jumped to the upgrade.
The old IIABDFI paradigm.
That said, I'd like to enjoy the new features.
I have not labored about an update as much as I did back in version 6 when I in fact paid for it, installed it, UN installed it and never used it again. When 7 was released I stayed with that and loved it, made many recordings and 8 seemed to cap it off nicely and seemed the most stable ever, although it seemed slower. 9.52 is ok but there are easy ways to crash it I have to keep remembering and never do in the sequence editor. It seems that with every money update they leave a few golden crash nuggets or hate-ables that you guess are flaws so that when the next version appears you have to immediately jump $$. Well, I'm not jumping this time but I may wait till 11.01 before I cast out my funds again. All that said, the updates are at least reasonable so it's not the money. (Nuendo 3 was a total ripoff by comparison of which I'm still recovering), rather, it's the usability on ones system that matters. I'm still on E-Capitan on a cheese grater 12 core and Mac OS is more scary to me than MOTU updates that may require new machines. Waves just laughs and says stop here and pay $100 to get your plugs back. Hmmm It'll all stop when I'm dead I guess. :-)
