Does DP10 Connect to the update server?

I was hoping for an update soon and I've tried "Check for update now" under the Help menu, and I always get "there was an error contacting motu.com". Been this way for days. Only me?

Nope.

As you have the latest version, it may be DP's way of telling you this (and everyone else). It could be that the server is down since there's nothing for it to load.

It would be nice if there was a message telling you that you have the latest and greatest but I've not seen one.

"Download Digital Performer Updates" near the bottom of the Help menu does work. It takes you to the DP 10 download page.

Now you’re in 2001 territory. When 2001 came out in 1968, it seemed so very far into the future. When DP 5 came out, DP was the ultimate fantasy land. DP 12, 13, 14... DP 33, that will be the one that changes everything. I’ll probably be long dead by then and good riddance. lol
